Seniors On The Move offers hope and support to our members and the senior community at large through philanthropy, volunteerism and through the creation of and participation in fun events and informative activities.

Philanthropy – A generous portion of SOTM dues and event proceeds is donated annually to charitable organizations which have thus far included Care Ring, the Salvation Army, the Restoration Center of Charlotte and Naomi Drenan Recreation Center (NDCRC) Summer Camp, We have also provided fellowship and temporary financial help to senior individuals in crisis.

Volunteerism – SOTM has provided volunteers for organizations and projects such as Celebrate Life ’08, Rise and Feed, Urban League Golf Tournament, NDRC School Supply Drive, Woodbury Subdivision School Supply Drive, TK Ministries Clothing Drive (for women & transition), Healing Vine, No Sad Stories Ministry and MedAssist.
